The PKR 10.9 billion projects will be completed in 18 months.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/bhara-kahu-bypass-cda-fwo-pc-i-draft.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87110\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bhara Kahu Bypass: CDA seeks FWO\u2019s PC-I draft to avoid further delays<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the CDA invited expression of interest (EoI) for the expansion of the expressway from two lanes to four lanes under section 42(F) Rules of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), which allows only government-owned organizations to directly contract with other state-owned entities. Only two government-owned firms participated in the bidding process, with the other being<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/nlc-bus-stops-green-blue-line-metro.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"86446\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> National Logistic Cell (NLC)<\/a> which quoted PKR 11.7 billion for the project.
