As per the details, out of the total amount, PKR 4.6 billion has been reserved for development schemes whereas PKR 1.4 billion has been allocated for non-development projects.&nbsp; The following are the details of the budget:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PKR 25 million has been reserved for the repair and maintenance of streets and roads<\/li><li>PKR 15 million allocated for building repair<\/li><li>PKR 10 million for restoration of traffic signals and repair of streetlights<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, it was revealed that the RMC has eight sources of income:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/excise-department-rwp-revenue-target.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Excise department Rawalpindi exceeds revenue target for FY22<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PKR 529 million will be obtained from its share of urban immovable property tax<\/li><li>PKR 400 million from tax on the transfer of immovable property<\/li><li>PKR 325 million from Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) award<\/li><li>PKR 600 million will be acquired from the fee for the change of land<\/li><li>PKR 100 million from building plan fee<\/li><li>PKR 253 million from the rent of the RMC properties<\/li><li>PKR 120 million from the profit of the bank account<\/li><li>PKR 343 million for general bus, parking fees, and slaughterhouse<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rmc-operation-commercial-buildings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RMC drive in works to verify commercial buildings\u2019 status, clear encroachments<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commissioner stated that the corporation will spend the development fund on major schemes. He went on to say that the restoration of Sujan Singh Haveli and Bhabara Bazaar, and the monument of Benazir Bhutto at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/renovation-liaquat-bagh-rawalpindi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Liaquat Bagh<\/a> will be the main projects.
