The T-bills were auctioned to raise funds for the government&#8217;s sponsored development schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sbp-banks-resume-housing-finance.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87777\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SBP instructs banks to resume subsidised housing finance<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, the government received less than the estimated market value of PKR 550 billion due to a slow market reaction. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sbp-pkr-1-7-tr-market-treasury-bills.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87001\" target=\"_blank\">T-bills were auctioned<\/a> off for three months, six months, and one year at a higher than the<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sbp-jacks-interest-rate-125-points-high.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87234\" target=\"_blank\"> market profit rate of 15%<\/a>.
