Islamabad: The federal cabinet has approved subsidized rates for power and gas supplied to five export-oriented sectors to make them competitive in the international market, according to news published on August 12. The new rates announced for the regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) will be effective from July 01, whereas new power rates will be charged from August 1 – till the end of the current fiscal year.
