Under these instructions, all mobile phones, vehicles, home appliances and other restricted luxury items will be released as per the revised monetary penalties. The notification also stated that other imported goods (excluding those mentioned above) will be released on payment of a surcharge of up to 35%, instead of the previously charged 15% fine charged for violating the ban.
