Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has barred any unlawful housing societies within its jurisdiction from marketing and selling plots, news sources reported on August 22. The administration has asked that all illegal and unapproved housing societies obtain an official No-Objection Certificate (NOC) before their project\u2019s marketing. Additionally, it was informed that RDA has approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime wing to launch an investigation against such societies for using social media and digital channels for marketing. The authority has also warned the public to beware of such illegal societies and to confirm with the RDA before investing in any housing scheme.
