Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Younas on Saturday (August 27) formed a committee for the restoration of a 900 years old Sarai <\/em>(inn) of the Mughal era, news sources reported. The Sarai (inn) is located in Sarai Kharbooza near Grand Trunk (G T) Road in a rural area of the federal capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reportedly, the chairman visited the old heritage site and issued its restoration orders. He said that the site will be an important tourist attraction and will highlight Muslim architecture’s <\/a>past glory. He also directed the formation of a committee of specialists in the field to provide consultation for the restoration project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
