He said the recent floods have devastated a large portion of the country, and the rehabilitation process would cost billions. However, the government would provide cash compensation to all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/coas-vows-rebuild-houses-flood-affectees.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"88337\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">houses damaged <\/a>by the recent floods. In this regard, a mechanism will be developed for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/tag\/digital-flood-dashboard\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/tag\/digital-flood-dashboard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> transparent distribution of funds <\/a>to needy families. He also praised the journalists for their continuous reporting of the flood and said they form the backbone of public policy by delivering accurate information.
