Roads will be rehabilitated on a priority basis to connect farmlands to marketplaces and maintain goods transportation to consumer markets. Moreover, the meeting agreed to conduct a crop damage assessment to estimate the amounts needed for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/digital-flood-dashboard-launched.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"88604\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> crop loss compensation.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elahi stated at the same meeting that the government is working on a plan to compensate families who lost their homes in the recent floods. The government will assess the damage and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-cash-compensation-houses.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"88645\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reimburse those affected<\/a> through the Bank of Punjab (BoP) and partner banks for relief package distribution.
