According to the feasibility assessment, the 3.5 million gallons per day (MGD) capacity project will provide potable water to 0.2 million people, with the capacity later increasing to 10 MGD under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/wasa-projects-underway-transform-faisalabad.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master Plan 2018-2038.<\/a> According to Project Concept-1 (PC-1), the capacity of the water treatment plant will be upgraded and expanded to 5 million MGD in the first phase and will also involve the construction of a 4.1-kilometre transmission line. Along with this, two ground reservoirs and two overhead reservoirs will be built, as well as primary, secondary, and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/faisalabad-to-get-adb-funded-wastewater-treatment-plant-soon.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"79232\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> tertiary distribution systems<\/a>.
