It was highlighted that the acquisition of land and construction of a dual carriageway has been planned. A senior official (whose name was not disclosed) mentioned that the fencing of the expressway will turn it into a mini-motorway as the design is similar to the Faisalabad section, which was linked with the Lahore-Islamabad motorway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, it was disclosed that the foundation stone of the project will be laid by the end of September and work is already being carried out by the relevant departments. According to the details, the expressway will start from GT Road. It is an extension of the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11).
