As per LDA sources, the PC-1 has revised the cost in response to the inflation and increase in construction material costs. In this regard, LDA Chief Engineer II Mazhar Hussain Khan has written to the Housing and Planning Department which has, in turn, released the letter for final approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the LDA has decided to start construction of the project in October and has announced that the groundbreaking is expected to be performed by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cm-orders-sheikhupuras-lda-jurisdiction.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"88840\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi<\/a>. According to the PC-1, the underpass will be built in 13 months and will be 500 meters long with a 5.1-meter height and 8- meter length.
