Lahore: Rescue 1122 Director General (DG) Dr Rizwan on Monday (October 10) announced the inspection of all high-rise buildings across Punjab for a fire safety hazard check, news sources reported. Read: Punjab Community Safety Buildings Regulations 2022 notified Under the Rescue 1122 Community Safety Act 2022, the fire department will assess all highrises over five storeys for fire hazards. The rescue teams will evaluate highrises and send them two notices to make the necessary architectural adjustments. Failure to comply with the warning will result in the building being sealed on the third notice.
