WASA Rawalpindi Managing Director (MD) Muhammad Tanveer stated in a media interaction that after the PDWP approves the concept paper, a thorough pipeline design would be completed by a consultant before floating a tender for the project\u2019s development. He stated that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/faisalabad-to-get-adb-funded-wastewater-treatment-plant-soon.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"79232\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asian Development Bank&#8217;s <\/a>steering committee has already authorized the project and now awaits final government approval before work can begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WASA MD explained that the project is a component of the 2001 pipeline project, which was intended to supply 28 million gallons of water per day from the Rawal Dam to Rawalpindi.
