During the meeting, the minister approved the proposal to operate electric buses in the city. Talking about the elevated expressway, the minister stated that it would change the outlook of Lahore in a few months. The minister also asked the authorities to consider building<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cm-road-shows-uk-promote-ruda-cbd.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"89855\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> commercial centers <\/a>on the sides of the said expressway.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the cost of constructing the elevated expressway, comprising four lanes, will be PKR 85 billion. This will be the first expressway to be constructed from the east to west of the city.
