According to the feasibility assessment, the 3.5 million gallons per day (MGD) capacity project will provide potable water to 0.2 million people, with the capacity later increasing to 10 MGD under the Master Plan 2018-2038.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/control-urban-flooding-in-rwp.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87850\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Project Concept-1 (PC-1),<\/a> the water treatment facility&#8217;s capacity will be renovated and expanded to 5 million MGD in the first phase, which will also involve the construction of a 4.1-kilometre transmission line. Along with this, two ground reservoirs and two overhead reservoirs will be built, as well as primary, secondary, and tertiary distribution systems.
