Under the project, FGEHA will lay down a 2-kilometre-long section of the water line from the reservoir, which will be part of the already-completed 14-kilometre-long pipeline network. As per the FGEHA spokesperson, the project will take one year and will be completed on a priority basis. Once completed, the project will help provide 2.5 million gallons per day (MGD) of water to both sectors, in addition to 1 MGD being provided from Khanpur Dam.
