The news source mentioned that the project has social and environmental importance as natural gas is a cleaner and safer alternative to diesel and coal-fired power generation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was mentioned that an assured supply of natural gas will attract new industries and boost economic activity. This will facilitate a unique level of trade and cooperation across the region along with promoting peace and security. As per the details, Pakistan will get benefits through transit fees for gas transportation to India.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik stated that the TAPI gas pipeline project is on track and will be completed within three to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/tapi-gas-pipeline-4-years-minister.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four years<\/a> after achieving financial closing.
