Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Deputy Director General (Enforcement) Shahjahan Khan has said that the authority is devising a plan to uproot the menace of encroachments in trade centres around the city, news sources reported on December 5. Read: CDA to auction commercial plots next month Deputy Director General Khan made these remarks during a media briefing held after meeting with a delegation from the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) that the Enforcement Directorate had already surveyed key marketplaces to identify unlawful establishments. An operation to remove unlawfully erected structures and encroachments across the city is already in the planning stages. He stated that the CDA is taking every precaution to make business in the capital city simple and secure.
