Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch a dedicated Islamabad Public Transport Wing to operationalize the Metro Bus Services in the capital, news sources reported on December 15. Read: ICCI demands representation in CDA board for resolving business community issues The proposed new wing has been planned as a separate entity to ensure public transport facility maintenance and management separate from the National Highway Authority (NHA). The Islamabad Public Transport Wing will be responsible for the smooth running of the Orange Line Metro Bus Service from Peshawar Morr to Islamabad International Airport (IIA), the Green Line from Bhara Kahu to PIMS Hospital and the Blue Line from Koral Chowk to PIMS. In addition, CDA will also provide 13 feeder routes from various city locations to Metro bus routes.
