They stated that the amenity plot can only be used for the amenity for which it was reserved and no other purpose. It was highlighted that the FWO cannot use the land of the park as a construction site without proper proceedings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/shc-bans-billboards-public-properties.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SHC bans billboards on public properties in Karachi<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SHC was requested to remove the batching plant and heavy machinery installed at the public park as it violated the Karachi Town Planning and Building Regulations 2002 and the fundamental rights of the petitioners. However, the FWO mentioned that the Central DC handed over the park for setting up the camp office for the construction of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sc-sindh-compensate-affectees-orangi-gujjar.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gujjar Nullah<\/a>. The SHC observed that DC had no authority to hand over the possession of the park for any other purpose.
