Islamabad: The Ministry of Housing has decided to launch an anti-encroachment operation against unauthorized intrusion housing units provided to the federal government employees<\/a> in all Islamabad sectors, according to news published on December 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per a report submitted by the Ministry of Housing, there are some 17,500 federal government-owned apartments in the city, of which, 5,000 units have been illegally inhabited and encroached upon by employees.
