This initiative involves raising awareness regarding the hazards of this practice, and confiscating such bags where necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To this end, the CDA has directed the Director General (DG) Enforcement Wing to execute operations in both rural and urban areas of the federal capital to collect non-biodegradable plastic shopping bags and prevent their use.
