Lahore: Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has closed off Kalma Chowk Underpass for all types of traffic as the remodelling of Central Business District (CBD) and Kalma Chowk Underpass <\/a>has entered the next phase, according to news published on January 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the details, the authority has closed one lane of the underpass for the traffic coming from Barkat Market towards Liberty Market. The technical team of the CBD in collaboration of City Traffic Police (CTP) has formulated and issued a comprehensive traffic diversion plan to avoid any inconvenience for commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news source mentioned that the road connecting Saint Mary Park and Centre Point is open to traffic. The traffic coming from Barkat Market and going towards Liberty Market will turn left towards Muslim Town and will take a U-turn to reach Liberty Market through the Gaddafi Stadium. According to the traffic plan, the motorists coming from Model Town towards Liberty Market will go straight to Muslim Town and then take a U-turn to reach Liberty Market via Stadium Road.
