WAPDA Chairman Lt Gen (Retd) Sajjad Ghani visited the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pm-dasu-dam-site.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Dasu Hydropower Power <\/a>project site to review the construction work. The chairman was briefed that the construction work is being carried out on 12 different sites simultaneously.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news source mentioned that the WAPDA is constructing Stage-I with an installed generation capacity of 2,160-megawatt and an annual energy generation of 12 billion units of environmentally friendly and low-cost electricity. Stage-II is expected to provide 9 billion units to the national grid.
