As per Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), the new specifications have been planned to consolidate the land under use and bring the unplanned and scattered industries under one rule. As per the documents, the total area for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-man-made-wetlands-river-ravi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> industrial complex is 2,200 acres<\/a>, of which 950 acres are already occupied by industries while a new 1,239 acres has been added for the new industrial complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-man-made-wetlands-river-ravi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RUDA proposes man-made wetlands to address challenges of River Ravi<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following provisions have been added to the new RUDA industrial Estate regulatory document:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The new estate is planned to be developed on 691 acres, 55.84% of the total land area of 1,239 acres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Of the 691.89 acres, 592 acres fall within the district boundary of Lahore and 99 acres within Sheikhpura<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>137 acres have been allocated for park and open spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3.88 acres have been allocated for commercial areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-develop-g-9-markaz-priority.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDA urged to develop G-9 Markaz on priority<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apartment buildings will be developed on 45 acres, common facilities on 70 acres, a sports complex on 21 acres, and roads on 267 acres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Common facilities include Rescue-1122, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-man-made-wetlands-river-ravi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a truck terminal, <\/a>retail shops, mosques, hospitals, grid stations, schools\/colleges, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The total infrastructure expenditure will be PKR 30 billion for the entire exercise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-launch-development-work-industrial-area.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RUDA to launch development work in industrial area<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It merits mention that the PKR 5 trillion Ravi project was launched in 2020 and is Pakistan\u2019s first smart and planned development and infrastructure project.
