The authority has estimated PKR 4.75 billion as the total cost of the project, which will also include the construction of a temporary wastewater processing facility near <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-mulls-commercialising-plots-gulberg.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kalma Chowk<\/a>. The permanent water treatment plant, however, will be built near Ring Road on WASA-owned 237 kanal land. The permanent water treatment facility will process 2,000 cusecs of grey water daily.\u00a0 As per the sources, the WASA has decided to take the initiative to increase capacity keeping in mind the ongoing surge in vertical buildings and the Central Business District (CBD) Downtown project.
