Reportedly, the district administration announced its operation against the encroachers during a meeting with Rawalpindi Traders Association President Shahid Ghafoor Paracha. The officials also revealed that in the initial phase, the operation will be launched from Liaquat Bagh to Fawara Chowk, Faizabad to Liaquat Bagh on Murree Road, Raja Bazaar, and Iqbal Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was highlighted that the administration will make an announcement for encroachments to be voluntarily removed, or the goods will be confiscated. The shopkeepers will be allowed to use half the area of a footpath, while the remaining space will be reserved for pedestrians.
