Mengal also gave a deadline of six months to the owners of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-high-rise-commercial-buildings-survey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">highrises in Islamabad<\/a> to construct emergency stairs. These stairs should be developed outside the building\u2019s console of all projects having four or mre storeys in Islamabad. He also said that all new structures should also include these stairs. He was of the view that open space should also be left at the front and back of the buildings for parking as per the plots\u2019 sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-approve-commercial-buildings-plans.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDA to approve commercial buildings\u2019 plans within one month<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDA chief also assured that the relevant departments have been instructed to approve the building plans within 15 days of the document submission. He said that a meeting of the design vetting committee will be held each week to facilitate the builders. It was also announced that an express counter will be set up at one window cell for the one-day transfer of the properties.
