He termed the RUDA projects a \u2018twin city concept\u2019 stating that it will promote urban regeneration and environmental sustainability in Lahore. He went on to say that RUDA\u2019s conceptual rejuvenation of River Ravi will revive the socio-economic and cultural moorings where Lahore will become a new metropolitan hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the visit, the minister was informed about different projects under RUDA including seven Wastewater Treatment Plants with modern infrastructure and river training works, and the construction of three barrages. RUDA officials briefed the minister on Sapphire Bay, Chaharbagh, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-entertainment-city.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Entertainment City<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ruda-usd-600-mn-investment.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RUDA attracts USD 600 mn investment pledges<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the officials informed the minister about the Central Business District (CBD) projects including the upgradation of Walton Road, induction of water harvesting wells, provision of service corridors, and remodelling of Kalma Chowk.
