Gwadar: The Balochistan government has granted Special Economic District (SED) status to Gwadar with the aim of promoting port activities and facilitating the rapid development of this coastal district, a news source reported on May 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, has approved the summary proposed by the Planning and Development Department to declare Gwadar as an SED.
