{"id":93836,"date":"2023-06-07T12:45:52","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T07:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/?p=93836"},"modified":"2023-06-07T12:45:53","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T07:45:53","slug":"construction-repair-works-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/construction-repair-works-islamabad.html","title":{"rendered":"ICCI to start phase-wise construction, repair works in ISB\u2019s markets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari shared that construction and repair works in Islamabad\u2019s markets will start in phases, according to news published on June 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/icci-finalise-site-industrial-estate.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICCI asked to finalise site for industrial estate in Islamabad<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details, a meeting was convened by ICCI President with the presidents of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/icci-development-work-isb-markets.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">various markets <\/a>to discuss the ongoing construction activities conducted by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in these markets. It was disclosed that the work will start phase-wise. In the initial phase, several markets, including G-9, Abpara Market, G-11, F-10, F-11, F-6, and Melody Market, were selected for construction and repair works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, five focal persons were appointed to serve as points of contact for coordination between the CDA and the concerned market representatives for construction and repair works in Islamabad\u2019s markets. These focal persons include President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, Founder Group Chairman Khalid Iqbal Malik, Former President Ijaz Abbasi, Anjuman Tajran President Ajmal Baloch, and Khalid Chaudhry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of the entire business community of Islamabad, Bakhtawari expressed gratitude to CDA Chairman Captain Noorul Amin Mengal. He acknowledged that the longstanding issue concerning construction works in the markets had been addressed by the CDA Chairman. Bakhtawari further emphasized the need for a phased implementation and urged the market presidents and officials to extend their cooperation to the Chamber and CDA in resolving this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/icci-representation-cda-board-meetings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICCI to have representation in CDA Board meetings<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The markets in Islamabad have suffered from neglect for a significant period, resulting in various issues such as inadequate irrigation, insufficient road infrastructure, and cleanliness problems.
