Working in conjunction with the police, the RDA&#8217;s enforcement squad successfully sealed a commercial building that was being used as a school. As per the details, the authority notified the owners of severe consequences in case of violation of the approved maps and plans.<br>Moreover, it has also been shared that they were given an opportunity to rectify the situation by obtaining No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to legalize their constructions. Following the standards, the actions taken against the property owners were in accordance with the PDC Act 1976, and the RDA Building and Zoning Regulations of 2020, indicating the legal basis for the enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rda-takes-building-control-rawalpindi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RDA to assume functions of private housing schemes, building control<\/a><br>Furthermore, the RDA Director General has instructed the Land Use and Building Control (LU&amp;BC) Wing to be vigilant in cracking down on encroachments, illegal constructions, and unauthorized commercial activities.
