{"id":94512,"date":"2023-08-13T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-13T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/?p=94512"},"modified":"2023-08-11T15:12:57","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T10:12:57","slug":"lda-takes-action-against-land-mafia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-takes-action-against-land-mafia.html","title":{"rendered":"LDA launches drive to eliminate encroachments in Lahore"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA), in a resolute and impactful move, has launched a comprehensive operation to tackle encroachment within the city, according to the news circulated on August 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/clear-timelines-set-up-ongoing-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clear timelines to be established for ongoing projects: LDA DG<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation\u2019s primary goal of this drive is to eliminate unlawfully occupied properties and regain possession of high-value shops valued to the tune of the millions.\u00a0On August 9, the LDA proudly announced the successful recovery of 23 shops that were under illicit occupation for an extended duration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation involved teams from the Town Planning IV department strategically deployed across various neighbourhoods in Lahore.
