{"id":94573,"date":"2023-08-18T12:56:49","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T07:56:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/?p=94573"},"modified":"2023-08-18T12:56:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-18T07:56:50","slug":"nha-approves-procurement-psdp-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/nha-approves-procurement-psdp-projects.html","title":{"rendered":"NHA gives nod to procurement of works of various PSDP projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Islamabad: The National Highway Authority (NHA) Executive Board has given its approval for the procurement of various projects outlined in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2023-24, according to news published on August 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sambrial-kharian-motorway-alignment-changed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHA alters alignment of Sambrial-Kharian Motorway<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to official documents, the board convened under the chairmanship of NHA Chairman Captain (Retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha. After deliberations, the NHA Executive Board granted permission for the procurement of the following projects, in line with PPRA Rule-42 (f), and to hold competitions among State Owned Entities through limited direct tendering without public advertisement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of the Lahore-Sahiwal-Bahawalnagar Motorway project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extension of Karachi-Lahore Motorway (KLM), starting point to Saggian Road and Main Ravi Bridge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction of Lahore Bypass, from Kalashah Kaku Exit to KLM to Multan Road near Radio Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction of Dual Carriageway connecting Islamabad-Lahore Motorway (M-2) at Neela Dullah via Kahur with Hakla-D.I Khan Motorway (M-14), CPEC Western Corridor at Kharpa Pindi Gheb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link Road Peshawar\u2013Islamabad Motorway (M-1) to Margalla Avenue in ICT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/nha-chakdara-chitral-project-cdwp.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHA Board refers PC-1 of Chakdara\u2013Chitral Road project to CDWP<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dualization of Road from Faisalabad Bypass to Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3) via Satiana<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dualization and Rehabilitation of the 104-kilometre-long Kuchlak-Chaman Section of the Karachi-Chaman National Highway (N-25)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dualization of the 330-kilometre-long Khuzdar-Kuchlak Section of N-25<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lowari tunnel electrical &amp; mechanical works plus bridges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the NHA Executive Board endorsed the procurement of projects outlined in the PSDP for 2023-24 under PPRA Rule-42 (f), permitting State Owned Entities to engage in limited direct tendering without advertisement.
