The Chief Engineer stated that the completion of these four projects would contribute significantly to reducing smog in the city. The LDA has issued strict directives to the contractors to ensure that water is sprinkled at all the construction sites every two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, these projects include an underpass at Bedian Road, flyovers at Akbar Chowk and Shahdara, and an underpass at Khalid Butt Chowk. Work on the project commenced on May 26, 2023, and the contract stipulated a completion date of March 25, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, the Shahdara flyover project was on track to finish in 7.5 months instead of the anticipated 10 months. Construction work began on April 4, 2023, with a contract deadline for completion by January 4, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bedian Road underpass project was progressing at an impressive pace, aiming for completion in just two and a half months instead of the originally estimated six months.
