Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is embracing a tech overhaul, bidding farewell to paper with the launch of an e-filing system and digitization to streamline its service delivery, according to news published on November 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this digital leap, the CDA is partnering with a private software company to spearhead the transition. The initial step involves Sector D-12, set to serve as a pilot project for digitizing property records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this new system, all service transactions, from plot auctions to building plan approvals, will seamlessly shift to an online platform, accompanied by the issuance of electronic certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that’s not all \u2013 the CDA is gearing up to introduce a range of online services, including the issuance of birth certificates and online payments for property tax, plot charges, and more. An application is also in the works to facilitate these online transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
