Sources suggest that the work on these dams is likely to start by May or June 2024. According to the details, the dams in Rawalpindi Division will be constructed in Jhelum, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, and Attock Districts, irrigating up to 20,000 acres of land and supplying water to the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
