This ground-breaking initiative, unprecedented in Punjab\u2019s history, aims to provide 3,300 residential plots to journalists through a transparent balloting mechanism. The announcement took place during a ceremony at the CM Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the framework of this scheme, reporters will be allocated 7-marla residential plots, while cameramen and photographers will be granted 3-marla residential plots through a fair and unbiased balloting process. The eligibility criteria for obtaining these plots will be advertised on Monday. The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) will assist journalists in the application process and guide related details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for submitting applications for the residential plots is January 28, and the balloting process will be finalized before February 8. CM Naqvi expressed his intention to explore the possibility of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) offering favourable loans for house construction to further support journalists.
