The well is currently producing 1.5 million cubic feet of gas per day. This gas is being added to the supply of the Sui Southern Gas Company, which distributes gas in Pakistan. The well was drilled to a depth of nearly 3 kilometers, and although there were some initial challenges, they were overcome by using a method called hydraulic fracturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OGDCL owns the entire project and is committed to exploring and developing tight gas in Pakistan to strengthen the country&#8217;s energy resources.
