The Kissan Card will facilitate future government subsidies and enable farmers to buy seeds, fertilizers, and other inputs from 2,160 registered dealers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Punjab Agriculture Department had previously registered 800,000 farmers for the scheme. Special teams have been formed for manual checks in non-computerised areas to address verification challenges.
