Lahore: Punjab Government has awarded the contract for construction of
low-cost houses under Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) to the National
Logistics Cell (NLC) and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO), according to a news
published on October 20.

The two oraganisations will now construct houses as well us carry out infrastructural
development in the low-cost projects. Under this agreement, NLC and FWO will construct 10,000 low-cost NPHP units, out of which 700+ units will be built in Raiwind, Lahore.

In a recent update, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated in a meeting with
National Coordination Committee (NCC) on Housing, Construction and Development
that 250,000 job opportunities are created under the Naya Pakistan Housing and
Development Authority (NAPHDA).
