Peshawar: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has started replacing old electricity cables with aerial bundled cables in a bid to curb electricity theft.
According to a news source, the installation of new cables will reduce line losses and the proper insulation around wires will stop thieves from stealing electricity using hooks.
The source further reported that work on the assignment was underway and that the project was launched with the assistance of United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
