Lahore: PKR 5 billion have been approved for an urban development scheme in Punjab, a news source reported. This was decided in a meeting of high officials of Planning & Development (P&D) department.
The meeting was headed by Chairman P&D Punjab Habib Ur Rehman Gilani. According to details, the urban development project approved involves the supply of water to Rawalpindi from Chanan Dam through a treatment plant.
