Lahore: Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is set to begin a plantation campaign in the Walled City, according to a news report. The campaign will be launched in collaboration with Punjab Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries Department. The Punjab Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries Department Secretary and WCLA Director General will inaugurate the campaign.
The drive, according to the report, will begin from Lahore Fort, and indigenous trees and plants will be planted inside the fort including Amaltass, Peepal and Borh. An awareness campaign will also be launched on pollution and smog at the time.
