Aoa dear members, i have a commercial plot and now i am thinking to construct the building on my own. This would be my first experience and my budget is not that handsome. Can anybody guide me on how start building on commercial plot phase wise, forexample that if i construct only first floor or second floor and sell it and afterwards build the remaining building. Please guide me in this regard whether it would be beneficial for me or not.

She has worked for prestigious interior and architecture practices.
The Architects and Aedas, the Aga Khan University Hospital (design office), United Nations.
With her 6 years of experience at the UNITED NATIONS, at UN-Habitat she has worked as Senior Architect, as part of the technical support unit, on design and construction of shelters, schools, BHU’s, Disaster Risk Reduction and as a coordinator to One UN Programme Strategic Priority Area 3 for Disaster Risk Reduction and liaised closely with 15 UN agencies, provincial and federal government and stakeholders. She also provided technical advice to the project.
Trained as an architect, I have extensive experience in (CBDRM), and has trained communities in the most under privileged and disaster prone areas of Pakistan on the construction of shelters, schools and basic health units in rural and urban areas. I have also trained masons and sub-engineers on site for disaster-hit communities.
As a DRM specialist, I have liaised with disaster management agencies at all levels of governance in Pakistan, including at national, provincial and district levels. I have represented UN agencies in Steering Committee Meetings in several provinces, including KP, FATA, AJK and Gilgit on issues of DRM and climate change. I have provided coordination and liaison support to the KPK, FATA, AJK/PAK Provincial Steering Committee meetings. I have also conducted M & E missions for shelters in some of the most vulnerable and remote parts of Pakistan.
She has worked as the resident architect for the UN in Pakistan and managed Construction and design projects for UNDP, UNIC ,UNIDO, UN-Habitat, ILO and UNOPS for the planning, design and construction of their country office in Islamabad
She is an Associate of the Institute of Architects, Pakistan, and a Member of Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners.
