CDA Budget Allocations 2013/14

CDA draft budget has got allocations for:

  • Completion of development work in d-12
  • Development of stalled sectors; e12, i-12 and i-15
  • Development of margalla avenue
  • Opening of new sectors, C-15 & C-16

Take a pick, Plenty of options to choose from now, yeah.

Very informative, good work for others thanks mbs.

Thanks fahad.

Apparently they will fund the stalled sectors by selling plots in c-15 and c-16 for around rs 13 billion.

It means that the prices will certainly rise in the sectors mentioned by mbs. But, i personally really hope that development needs to be completed in all those sectors as a lot of time has passed since their inception. Good luck cda and good luck to all those having plots in the said sectors. Thanks

Mbs, What is your past experience with cda budget being materializing to reality projects on ground? Does it happen soon? Mean few months or yearas once the budget has been presented

There is still chance of price rise in i-12?

Useful information for investors who want to invest in islamabad property.I do appreciate MBS efforts for guiding property investors sincerely.

Considering these allocations, one can find right undervalued properties to invest which could get better rewards in coming year.

Any idea when cda is going to launch c-15-16? What will be the procedure to apply for a plot? Which type of advertisement cda will use to announce this project for general public?

Is it a good time to sell in e-12 and i-12 or wait for the development?

Appreciate your expert opinion, thanks

The budget has been approved but it seems like a joke. Rs 25 million (2.5 crores) have been allocated for e-12. Whereas rs 500 million( 50 crore) have been allocated for i-15 including the construction of 6000 flats. If we divide the amount allocated for i-15 on the flats only, that makes it 83,333 rs per flat.

Plust the development of e-12 has been linked to the passage of an ordinance (allowing public private partnership). Which means no ordinance no development

No allocation of funds for i-12?

Yes arshad, didn’t spot anything about i-12

@sinful god knows better. But we all know cda has never failed to disappoint people.

But now apparently, there is an intention to clean the mess but we'll see as things progress in coming weeks.

@salman you're absolutely right. This is worse than a joke.

I guess there's nothing at all for e-12 in the approved budget. But it talks about i-15 though.

Its insane, seriously. There's no priority for margalla avenue which could be a very very serious concern for small investors of zone 2 who had very high hopes (unrealistic though in my books)

And poor fellas of e-12 who put their confidence on it in last few months and doubled its prices with fake hopes, sorry guys yet another sluggish year for you.

Here's an excerpt of the budget

An amount of rs7 billion has been assigned for four priority projects which include development of sectors i-15, c-15 and c-16, acquisition of land in sector h-16 and compensation of acquired land in mauza sheikhpur, jhangi syedian, badhana kalan, mauza noon.

E-12 update - tender for construction of major roads

Cda has floated a tender notice for the construction of major roads in sector e-12 worth 408.3 mn

Dear mbs,

As pointed out by you in your previous posts that there are no allocations for e-12 in the budget. Now, how come they can float this tender?

On the basis of this can we conclude similar situation for margalla avenue despite no allocations in the budget?

I am not objecting your intentions, please. Just for understanding and knowledge.
