D-12 is a very scenic sector of Islamabad. But due to less attention by CDA the development is not that much there in the sector. In the current state what to expect and in what time frame improvement in the development. The news held with members regarding the development are requested to be shared (for the information of residents of D-12) namely in the field of following:
- Sui gas availability
- Roads and infra development
- Water supply
- Sewerage lines

As soon as these facilities would be available in D-12, property rates here would shoot up. Any investment in Islamabad real estate market is worth it because all of these sectors have to be developed sooner rather than later. It looks like that CDA is currently focused on pacing up the development work in limited sectors. D-12 might have to wait for about a year to get developed.
Yes, development is very slow in this area that`s why investors are also not moving over there. If the owner of plots over there start proper construction then it can be a useful thing for development. For construction purpose, I can suggest you many good architects. In my point of view, this area needs attention from the society owner.
CDA is not focused to develop even in limited sectors... There seems to be a method behind this madness..
I have many times suggested to CDA ppl to delegate the responsibility of development and maintenance to private companies.. They do not have any will left to develop and maintain residential sectors, D 12 is no different...
CDA has run out of steam. It is not the same Islamabad of 80s and 90’s when it used to end at G-10 and F-10. The city has rapidly expanded and populated and CDA needs to be completely revamped completely to meet new challenges.
