This is highly unfortunate that every moment which passes by, we, knowingly or unknowingly, are trying to convince expats Pakistanis : " Do not send any remittances to Pakistan" as it will go drain by inexperienced govt?
So far no one is convinced by their nonstop news as remittances have been increased and keeping increasing.
Why do not these friends propagate the good decisions being taken by Imran govt, too?
Only negativity to be shown all the time?
I do not know why this determined commitment is happening?
I cannot blame these learned friends that it is not self manifested but the good points of the budget are even praised by independent bodies and prominent business community personalities!

Its good to be excited but hinting an opportunity to turn into a fanatic only results in swallowing ones pride. Perhaps for a fanatic, that doesn't matter, it is the surrender of basic human decency and lots of swallowed pride to turn one into a Fanatic, at first - Carry on, All the Best!
I have been reading this thread for a long time and I feel the need to comment because there are some people that spout lies, have enormous bias towards this Prime Minister and a total lack of regard for the poor that are suffering.
Remittances need to increase because the cost of living has gone up.
Remittances have naturally increased year on year.
Remittances cannot be measured against economic factors. In a survey, most expat Pakistanis confirmed that they send money back home to support families. This would occur regardless of the economic situation. People need to eat.
2 years ago everything was going fine, country was headed in the right direction, forex reserves were at $22 billion, dollar was at Rs104, stock market was at 54,000 points and CPEC was at full swing.
Then we all know what happened and why. In an effort to overthrow Nawaz Sharif the whole country has been put at risk. Millions more are now below the poverty line. And now those who dislodged him have absolutely no clue how to run this country.

Unfortunately, we have been thrown into endless debate of defending and acusing each other's favourite leaders/govt but no body pays attention to the real masters who are playing politicians as puppets.
The actual problem of this country is that people are not allowed to rule as per constitution and everywhere there is a Baba Rehmata who thinks himself as King, above the law and constitution.
Common people are just puppet of media. They will believe whatever is told to them.
