Sohail,
The problem is that I am talking about "process" while you are insisting on "personalities". We can continue this futile debate forever. While the beneficiaries, who have successfully divided us, will continue to have "free lunch" on your and my tax money.
And please, please please, please, please, please, please, don't conclude that I am referring to corrupt politicians. These cockroaches thrive on crumbs, while the cake and cream is eaten by monkeys.!!! You can go after saving crumbs and let the monkey have the cake, but don't force me to call you a wise man.
If you do not believe me just look at the federal budget. It is no conspiracy, no propaganda. Plain and simple fact, that you can not deny, can not twist or shift blame on past govts.
Isloo1 , Please talk openly with solution if you have..
Otherwise by writing puppets, Monkeys and cockroaches etc will not make this a talk about process.
Lets not confuse yourself and others in to suspicious wording which ends no where, the straight forward stuff is the process will get corrected only if the elected members start performing, this will only happen when there will be accountability. The civil government only responsible for growth in economy not the others. The percentage you are highlighting towards looking slightly higher in budget as GDP is too small.
Did your highlighted Monkeys ever stopped the cockroach to use the allocated budget in ethical way or he pursuit him to make Iqama in UAE to be able to easily transfer all this money in his overseas accounts. The Monkey is only worried for his survival, he knows the way cockroach eating they will not leave anything at all.
Seems like 'POGO Audience' not knowing the metaphorical expressions for articulation and getting naive to the core...
Irony is, including Darbari, Patwari, Sharmeeli etc. Keywords to reflect the fanaticism in which they are drenched, feeling upset, at the same time on words like Monkey, Puppet etc...
.
Sohail,
The simple and straight answer that I can give you is this:
The world has evolved, but our privileged class of the former British colony is insisting to live in the past. These fake "Gora Saab" think that they still work for and answerable to the "Crown". People are just "coolies" for them, worthless subjects who "breed like rabbits" () and die like dogs.
This can not work in this global village. It is just not sustainable. So our "haves" are putting their last ditch effort to stop the clock. They want us to hear what they tell, see what they show, think what they want. We have followed this faithfully in 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, but for heaven's sake, this is 21st century. How can you still keep us in 19th century. It is not sustainable.
So my dear Sohail Khan, the simple answer is that we should become self-aware. We should see with our own eyes, hear with our own ears and think with our brains. Then things will start making sense to us.
This is not the fight for govt or money, this is the fight for the CLOCK. So decide, which side you are on????????

Abdul Qayoom Sahib,
(@Kakee, sharmeeli, Billo Rani, Papoos....... lmao)
Darbaries have taken oath on bible in their Darbar e Azeem to protect the interest of Kakee and papoos and billo rani and they have nothing to do with the word HONESTY.... it is in their personal interest to defend kakee and papoos kingdom...... Darbaries can google you anything with the FAKE LINKS to prove that their Darbar made Pakistan THE ASIAN TIGER ( lmao).... but if you ask them the money trail of papoos and kakee and sharmeeli then they got millions of excuses........
Ilyas Bhai,
It's ok to be an outdated keyboard junk, not an issue as some are neurologically programmed like that. As they say, you cannot pull out new tricks with an old puppet!
1. I Challanged you earlier, Challange you now, scroll through entire forum to bring along any fake news. Let me be a Darbari/Patwari, whatever you like to call, just 1 instance of fake news. I will owe an open apology to all forum. Let see if you may have the guts to prove or least bit of grace to apologise. Remember no beat the bush, evidence or no-evidence, simple!
2. In your spare time, read about Google Scholar, world's largest indexing database for scientific research. World uses that to conduct, search and publish cutting edge research. I can understand you being alregic to publicly available evidence but that doesn't change the fact that digitization has proven to be a curse who use to cook up stories!
3. I wouldn't call it honesty:
- When you curse Express Tribune and cite it as a source to report Rana Sana News and when pointed out, go back and edit the post
- Accuse others and go into hiding when asked for evidence, etc.
It may be far better to be dishonest but straight then pretending to be honest but seeking refuge in hypocrisy.
-------
Awaiting, evidence for 1. or an open apology. If neither is an option, going into usual hideout not a bad plan B.
Ilyas sb.
It is highly unfortunate that we are highlighting govt mistakes multiplied by many forth but if we decide to spend an ounce of Allah's gifted wisdom, and think of Pakistan problems in productive ways and look forward for their rectifications, we can at least think we have done something rewarding today!
We do not need the repeated and repeated and repeated whole world figures pertaining to our beloved country's situation, we know and we know very well that our mistakes have brought us to this situation.
I was watching today some good advices to the govt such as
...Further reduce imports
...Privatize the white elephants organizations
...Educate the populace to pay taxes
...Tax the rich hounds
Sir, charagh se charagh jalta hay...
But here we are sitting and repeating like parrots hardly any productive work?
"Tax the rich hounds"
Sorry! I meant only the corrupt ones not the honest bznss men
I have a better suggestion, why don't we ask the following gents to suggest how to steer the country out of this mess.
- Arshad Sharif
- Sabir Shakir
- Hameed Bhatti
- Dr. Shahid Masood
- Mubashir Luqman
- Hasan Nisar
- Irshad Bhatti
- Sami Ibrahim
- Moeed Pirzada
- Saadia Afzaal
- Haroon Rasheed
(list goes on)
These wonderful people have worked 24/7 in telling us how we have been looted and plundered in last 10 years, and that anyone who is not with the establishment is actually a Chor and Daku.
I am sure they will have some constructive suggestions to build the country. Why in the world do you need Patwaris to guide you. Afterall, we are the ones who are responsible for this wholesale destruction of economy, remember?
Desn't the great Khan of Mianwali have any plan, any manifesto, any team to take us forward?
Things will get worse before they get better. Inflation is high, interest rates are high, GDP growth rate is low, job creation is low, freedoms are being suppressed and there will be more instability to come. In current environment there is no point in making any further investments.
Mubarik ho, mubarik ho, mubarik ho.
Imaran Niazi has imposed total media black-out on opposition leaders who are arrested (not yet convicted) or convicted on corruption charges.
PEMRA has been issued "instructions" by the prime minister after cabinet meeting.
TARAQQI TU HO RAHI HEY LAIKIN KUCH LOGON KO NAZAR NAHIN AA RAHI.
Hun Araam Aye???
People need to stopping looking for saviours and putting personalities on a pedestal. What matters is the progress of the country in terms of GDP growth, political stability, rule of law and constitution and the increase in the quality of life of the common man. On these yardsticks country is moving backwards, but then that is not surprising when people come to power by pleasing GHQ instead of through the mandate of the electorate.
Change cannot come from the top but must come from the bottom.
Imtiaz sahib, Watch a movi3, Spotlight… Once you watch it then we will make debate on the Fake news or real news or the responsible reporting or JOURNALISM etc…
About the topic:
Dollar can possibly hit 200-250 by the end of this fiscal year. Here are the reasons:
As per economists, Pakistan will need more dollars this fiscal year than they were required last year.
IMF agreement clearly requires government to cut current account deficit by 1/2 in this single year. Currently it stands at $13 billions.
IMF agreement also requires government to not use custom duty and import restrictions.
IMF agreement only leaves rupee devaluation as an option to discourage imports and help exports.
Moreover, if imports are declining than government revenue from those imports will also decline. But IMF requires 1500 billion more revenue every year to keep things stable. Which means Puppet Khan will slaughter us again and again.
This budget is just a start. I think more supplementary budgets and tax increases will follow during this fiscal year.
Ilyas sb,
as suggested earlier, pls. Dont beat around the bush, come to the point.
"Darbaries can google you anything with the FAKE LINKS to prove that their Darbar made Pakistan THE ASIAN TIGER ( lmao)"
Bring the evidence!! habitual troll(s) must be be tackled.
If you go to a bank asking for a loan, they will be happy to lend so long as you can repay. This means more taxation, which is a good thing if the money is used on the population but unfortunately instead of the rich being taxed more, the burden is falling on the poor and middle classes. Furthermore it does not look like the money will be spent on the benefit of the population.
On the otherside the economy is in decline, which leads to loss of taxation, also loss of jobs.
Investors are withholding investment as nobody knows what is going on, and Pakistan is not a good investment destination currently. Even China may run out patience with the current idiots running the show in front of and from behind the curtain.
All these things do not bode well for the country at least in the next 2 years.
Overseas Pakistanis sent record $21.84 billion during last Fiscal year. It is certainly not going in to real estate sector. So where this money is going?
It seems like savings of everyone is declining and remittances are barely helping with families living expenses.
It is definitely alarming.
JDM,
On increased remittances last fiscal year, you are ignoring the fact that there were 2 amnesty schemes that must have contributed to increased transfers to some extent.
With rapidly declining economic situation the incumbent govt is likely to take desperate measure and further mess up things. Traders and cement distributors are already on strike. So next would be realtors, factories and farms.
What will happen to the poor daily wagers. We are worried about our disposable money, but the poor will loose his daily bread.
This Gorbachev of Pakistan will surely bring us to knees.
Fahad Azhar,
Did you know Aleema Khan was rescued from Chitral on a Army helicopter few days ago. I am sure this heli runs on CNG and costed only Rs.10 per km.
Ilyas, two thumbs up for Spotlight. The movie is so absording, that you can not take your eyes off for a second. Feels like you are actually living in Boston of late 90s.
Thanks mate.
